Oh my gods, I've got a stress headache and I'm having #TheLongDarkTimeTimeoftheSoul about the hinted at upcoming pause in #DoctorWho. Hello, #RTD, #Disney, #Ncuti, etc., it's an awful idea to bail out now, just like the #Beeb did with #OldWho. #Rassilon would not be impressed.

My wife and I are huge #DoctorWho fans. But, the newest Doctor just isn't working. Why does #Ncuti have to cry in EVERY episode? I don't care for gods and luck. It is relying too heavy on visuals from Disney over story and characters. Did not care for Ruby Sunday and all the breaking of the 4th wall. Maybe it is time for a rest and #regeneration in a decade or so :sadness:

In #CRRRRS 540 I said I won't be covering #NewWho #DoctorWho. However, since I am in any case watching each new episode, my lab assistant, Herr Fygor Gestalt, has advised me to do mini-reviews to refer back to for the wrap party planned at the end of #Ncuti's first season.

NCuti Gatwa as The Doctor
From his first full episode the Church on Ruby Road. He exits the Tardis on Xmas eve and tears roll down his cheeks.

And from his Leather jacket and ever changing sweater vest underneath to his walk, his dance, his ginger hop along the rooftops and his ability to stab a bitch, He is immediately The Doctor, and another one of "my" doctors

From the newest Doctor Who title sequence, the tardis plummets down through the colorful cloudlike currents of the time vortex interacting with and creating eddys in its path.

It very much reminds me of the evolution of the Star Trek opening sequences that by the time you get to Voyager its flying through icy rings.

I very much enjoyed the updates in all respects.
