Missy’s absolute favourite thing is to play/drink from the hose.

To reduce mess and her excitement levels when I refill her pools, I place the hose underwater.

Today she learnt that water is still coming out, even though she can’t see it.

In short, I got drenched before seeing my client today, no time to change.

Luckily with Brisbane’s heat & my aircon not working I was mostly dried by the time I arrived.

Tinkerbell loves spending time on the deck. She's fond of sunbathing, nature watches (especially birds), and barking at the mailman.

She seems to be responding well to her first dose of chemo - spouse is taking her in today for a first checkup. She spent the weekend alternating being full of energy and mischief, and sleeping for hours, which is typical #NeapolitanMastiff.

My level of connection to my fediverse contacts is low, and I'm not terribly active right now (hobbies, etc.) so I'm mostly quiet.

I'll share that my #NeapolitanMastiff has DCM, but now she's been diagnosed with #Lymphoma.

Pandemic, then winter, now this. We're still holding on to positive attitudes, but we are also experiencing some preemptive grief, and the stress of the diagnosis, and uncertainty over the next few months.
