Himachal News: हिमाचल प्रदेश के उपमंडल अम्ब में एक पेट्रोल पंप लापरवाही का गंभीर मामला सामने आया है। स्थानीय निवासी संजीव कुमार ने बताया कि उनके भाई मुकेश कुमार ने अपनी कार में डीजल डलवाने के लिए पेट्रोल पंप पर गाड़ी लगाई थी। कर्मचारी ने फोन पर बात करते हुए गलती से 531 रुपये का पेट्रोल डाल दिया, जबकि कार पर साफ लिखा था कि यह डीजल वाहन है।
क्या हुआ घटना के दौरान
मुकेश ने तुरंत इस गलती पर आपत्ति जताई और अपने भाई संजीव को सूचित किया। संजीव ने मौके पर पहुंचकर पेट्रोल पंप मालिक से बात की। मालिक ने पहले तो स्थानीय मिस्त्री से कार की टंकी साफ कराने की बात कही, लेकिन जब एजेंसी में गाड़ी ठीक कराने की बात आई, तो उन्होंने खर्च वहन करने से इनकार कर दिया। संजीव ने बताया कि इस गलती से उन्हें आर्थिक नुकसान और मानसिक तनाव झेलना पड़ा।
एजेंसी की सलाह और पंप मालिक का रवैया
एजेंसी के वर्कशॉप मैनेजर ने बताया कि गलत ईंधन से कार के इंजन, इंजेक्टर और फिल्टर को नुकसान हो सकता है। उन्होंने सुझाव दिया कि गाड़ी को टो-चेन के जरिए एजेंसी लाया जाए। लेकिन पंप मालिक ने इस सलाह को ठुकराते हुए बहस शुरू कर दी और दुर्व्यवहार किया। संजीव ने बताया कि मालिक न तो गलती मानने को तैयार हुए, न ही नुकसान की भरपाई करने को राजी हुए।
पुलिस कार्रवाई और शिकायतकर्ता की मांग
घटना की सूचना पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची, लेकिन मालिक ने सहयोग नहीं किया। संजीव ने 112 हेल्पलाइन पर भी शिकायत दर्ज की। थाना प्रभारी अम्ब अनिल उपाध्याय ने बताया कि पुलिस ने जांच शुरू कर दी है। संजीव ने चेतावनी दी कि अगर जल्द समाधान नहीं हुआ, तो वे उपभोक्ता फोरम और उच्च अधिकारियों से न्याय मांगेंगे।
पीड़ित का दर्द
संजीव ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि ऐसी लापरवाही से आम लोगों का भरोसा टूटता है। उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि पुलिस और प्रशासन इस मामले में सख्त कदम उठाएंगे, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाएं न हों।

I haven't seen a lot about this in the national news, but the lawyer for the 2019 El Paso mass shooter (Patrick Crusius) is now expressly stating that his client thought he was working for Trump to stop the "invasion" (by brown people) the president said was occurring in Texas.

"Patrick Crusius believed he was acting at the direction of President Donald Trump when he murdered 23 people and wounded 22 others at an El Paso Walmart in 2019, his defense lawyer told El Paso Matters.
“He thought he had to stop the invasion because that’s what his president was telling him, which is just not rational,” defense attorney Joe Spencer said in his first extended interview about the mass shooting that Crusius said was meant to stop “the Hispanic invasion of Texas.”
“He thought, if he doesn’t do it, then nobody’s going to do it. He’s got to start,” Spencer said."
It's not lost on me that Trump sycophants and apologists have a whole ream of excuses at the ready; the shooter had a history of serious mental illness, his lawyer is a Democrat who (rightfully) thinks Trump's white nationalist rhetoric is dangerous, Crusius awkwardly tried to absolve Trump in his manifesto, and so forth. The fact is however that just because fascists are willing to spew disingenuous lies to cover up Trump and the larger fascist propaganda industry's involvement in motivating a mass murderer, doesn't mean any thinking person has to treat those disingenuous excuses seriously. This guy was one of Trump's legion of white nationalist fanboys; he was quoting Great Replacement conspiracy theories in his cut and pasted manifesto, he was adamantly against his lawyer subpoenaing Trump, and the shooter even admitted a 2019 Trump rally in Florida was the moment that convinced him to plan and enact the murders.
"Spencer said Crusius told him that a key event leading to the murderous rampage in El Paso occurred in May 2019 in Panama City Beach, Florida, when Trump spoke at a rally.
“I mean, you have 15,000 people marching up and you have hundreds and hundreds of people and you have two or three border security people that are brave and great,” Trump said, then added falsely that Border Patrol agents weren’t allowed to use weapons.
“But how do you stop these people?” Trump said.
“Shoot them,” someone in the audience shouted, drawing laughter from the crowd and a smile from the president.
“That’s only in the (Florida) Panhandle you can get away with that statement,” Trump said while shaking his head. “Only in the Panhandle.”
Crusius said he saw video of that Trump rally and was motivated to act, Spencer said. In June 2019, a month after the Florida Trump rally, Crusius purchased a semiautomatic rifle online and had it delivered to a gun dealer in his hometown of Allen, Texas, near Dallas, according to court records."
Like are you fucking kidding me? Please keep in mind that as you read this, the Trump regime is currently arguing that Venezuelan migrants are literally "an invasion" that justifies the president invoking war powers to ship them to a slave labor prison in El Salvador without due process. Of *course* this maggot fascist believed Trump was serious about migrants "invading" America and destroying the country because Trump himself is serious every time he says it! #Coinamatic, a Canadian laundry service, is barely able to keep 50% of the machines in our building operational at any given moment.
Out of four laundry rooms for 7 floors of residents, at any given moment half of those machines are broken or misleadingly seem to work, but take your money and leave your clothes wet.
In addition, for the last two weeks I’ve been unable to put money on my laundry card due to a “no network cable detected” error on all local machines. No online ability exists to put money on my card in 2025. This is ludicrous.
After reporting the issue in a phone call, I was told I would receive an email when the service repair was completed.
This never happened and I was also not refunded for the two loads left wet that I couldn’t dry due to Coinamatic’s incompetence.
This week, same systemic issue. Weeks of laundry repair requests now have me reporting Coinamatic to the Better Business Bureau and making a Fediverse post.
I am now spending more time reporting and complaining than actually doing my laundry.
Coinamatic is a disgusting, negligent capitalistic Canadian company, which preys on the lower class for its shareholders earnings.
After spending upwards of 4 grand over 15 years of Coinamatic use, my wife and I could’ve bought 2 separate washer/dryer sets, yet now I sit with unwashed clothes hoping for service from a company stretched thin by capitalism.
I would sincerely hope that no one would take it upon themselves to quietly break their machines, forcing their company to rethink their shitty service response and overload of customer complaints.
