Sus solos van mucho más allá de ser una simple demostración de su talento, aunque sin duda también lo son. Se nota que *Neal* era tan compositor como batería. Este solo pertenece al álbum en directo de "Rush": «A Show of Hands», publicado en 1989. Sin embargo, las actuaciones que componen el álbum se grabaron principalmente durante la gira «Hold Your Fire» de "Rush" en 1988, por lo que no está claro en qué ciudad y en qué fecha se grabó.
