Hereโs my #introduction, better later than never! Born in #GenX and I live on unceded #Ngunnawal land in #Canberra, #Australia. I have two teenagers, a husband, and a cat called Bluebell. After more than a decade as a SAHM I now work as an administrator for a company that manages the environmental upkeep of Defence bases. I still feel like the work experience kid and find I donโt have time for much else besides work and housework any more. Wish I could get back into #drawing, #craft or #photography (something creative!) but Iโm happy to enjoy the endeavours of others. I love watching good quality tv and movies, having a laugh or playing Just Dance with the kids, and going for walks in #nature or exploring new cities with my family. Got to #travel a fair bit pre-pandemic, saw a lot of Asia, never got to South America, wouldnโt mind getting back over to Europe some day.
I read plenty of #books (mostly #LiteraryFiction) including #audiobooks on my commute. Iโm trying to learn to speak #French with Duolingo but finding it hard to progress despite my 1473+ day streak (I really donโt practice enough).
Iโm also interested in #science, #space, #art, #culture, #history and #auspol.
