Time Monster 5 & 6
The Doctor and the Master land in ancient Atlantis.
The cast for this story is crazy large. We had UNIT and some scientists for the first 2/3s, and now we add a ton of Atlanteans.
The standout is Queen Galleia, played by the stately Ingrid Pitt.

The Tardis redesign in this episode is terrible, I don’t think it sticks around long. I know it’s always been white circles on white walls, but these look like bowls.
Most of poor UNIT is frozen in time. Benton tries to capture the Master but that never works.

This one is fun.
I rather like that the god of time is a wild glowing bird. Poor Dean gets wiped from the timeline. The Master shuts Kronos in the lab like a bird cage.
Outside they play camera tricks to make the Brigadier slow and the Doctor fast.

This episode does feel like filler.
The Master hides out in the Dean’s office until everyone clears out.
The Doctor gives a lot of techno babble and explains the Greek gods and titans are real, powerful beings.
Poor Ian Collier is aged and needs to wear old man makeup the rest of the episode.

The Doctor has a prophetic dream of the Master. Volcanic activity near Crete. So he builds a phallic Time Machine detector.
The Doctor and Jo spend half the episode driving around in Bessie. Some of the dialog in the car scenes is unscripted, Manning forgot the cameras were rolling and they kept the footage. Pertwee got lost as well.
