Ended yesterday and started Friday with Llyrìa an album by Swiss pianist and composer Nik Bärtsch's band Ronin recorded in France in 2010 and released on the ECM label.

While we’re on the subject of #jazz (with strong ties to #classical music and #minimalism ) - here are 6 hours of excerpts from a 27 hour concert I curated at @TheArtsCenterNYUAbuDhabi by Swiss pianist and composer #NikBartsch and his acoustic band Mobile. It was a blissful durational concert with thru-composed and purely #improvised sections by a quartet of piano, 2 drummers and multi-reeds.
