We went to Kingston to Gloria’s Seafood City today, lovely food, wonderful place, we all loved it, recommended. It’s in Kingston, Jamaica, on the seafront on Ocean Boulevard, by King Street, which is past Orange Street.

My food on a plate in front of me, the Pirate’s Catch, which is half a lobster, shrimps, fish, with lots of season and with two festivals on top. My wife to the right had the two big fish and her daughter in front of me had lobsters which was three half-lobsters. The others with us had a variety of other items including another Pirate’s Catch, two children’s food, and fish soups etc. Lots of good food.

This is the Hoya Pop Filter set which I bought in Melbourne in about 1979/1980 and still have, it’s a solid chunky set of red blue green glass which basically NDs the light to almost black, and is 55mm thread so I just balanced it into the Nikkor Z 50-250mm lens and left it balancing while I shot it in monochrome

I’m holding my Hoya ‘Pop Filter’ set of three circular (55mm thread) red blue and green glass filters (with the Nikon Z30 and 50-250mm lens behind it

Holding the three pop filters up to the sun, the red and green and blue separated with a small overlap in the middle where the sun is shining through darkness (my phone focussing on the filters though, not the sun)

Putting all three filters over the lenses of my iPhone 15 Pro Max, it turns everything too dark for it to properly focus, but there’s a small blobby out of focus reddish shot of the sun with a chunk taken out of the top

52 Frames "Week 06: Puddle"
-- This has been a bad week for puddles for me. I was traveling most of the week, and the weather both away and at home didn't cooperate with making convenient puddles. So late on Sunday I decided to try to create an artificial puddle with a pan and some rocks. I took photos of the rocks, and then turned away for a moment. When I turned back, Freya was sampling my artificial puddle. I decided that made a better photo.
