I've lived in the mid-west for 26 years and I have to admit there is very little I miss about Rhode Island. Offhand, I can even sum them all up in a single scene: Sitting by ocean, eating some gaggers (NY System Wieners), and washing it all down with a coffee Awful Awful (shake).

I've got a decent recipe to fake the wieners. I know where to get everything I need for the coffee shake. They aren't quite the same, but they'll take the edge off. The ocean is hard mimic though.

Why am I suddenly thinking about this? I've built an Outpost on a beach in Starfield and I turned off the music to listen to the surf as white noise.

Now I want gaggers.

So... he writes out "goodlooking" but abbreviates "very".

One could assume that he recognized, in this context, "very small" was a proxy for "childlike" and resorted to abbreviation to pretend this wasn't v creepy.

And were he aware of E's history, mentioning this characteristic seems to be an attempt to ingratiate himself with E.

A shame that all of the men Gelernter knows allegedly "behave" like this.

That explains a lot, but it excuses nothing.

UPDATE:

I don’t understand the chemistry of what just happened here, but if you pour more Baja Blast over the existing stuff in your cup to top it off, the ratio gets out of whack and apparently all of the dye and flavor separates out from the soda carrier of the #MountainDew?

I now have additional concerns, but #NoRegrets, about the battery acid I just injected.

In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take.
