Arrived in Furukawa, Japan, just north of Sendai.

From here, we’re onto a car for a 30 minute drive to Ishinomaki.

There is nothing but rice field also.

Furukawa, Japan, just north of Sendai. Nothing but farmland and rice field. There’s a pickup truck in front of us, BUT unlike in America or Canada, it’s a small pick up truck just perfect for the job. Onto a side road for a quick shortcut. It’s paved and there is houses on the right, which looks new. On the left, nothing but rice field. Crossing the Kyu-Kitakami River into Ishinomaki.
