Tomorrow is Christmas Market Day here in Hexham, which is a huge event in the town's calendar. @vfrmedia Right. I live somewhere that to charge the EV would cost twice as much as petrol because of council apathy about affordable charging infrastructure for people who can't keep cars on their own land.
You keep on seeing inventors with their schemes for charge points in lampposts, cable gutters across paths, etc, but nothing ever actually happens in real life. It's all just dispatch box, trade show, and science fair stuff. I just want something to happen in actual real life.
At the moment, travel eats 30% of my salary, so I have to be super price-sensitive. (Yes, I would like to work closer and for more money; thanks for noticing).
(On the other hand, this is #Northumberland County Council we're talking about, so it's probably all sorted in Morpeth, and so not a problem for them any more, 😉 ).
