Yesterday's smallpiping went well, it feels like I will get the hang of adding grace notes and throwing the odd triplet in with a bit of practice. Most of what I sat down and worked out beforehand seemed to work, and it was fun to revisit some simpler tunes I hadn't played for a while. I still need better finger speed and control, but that just needs repetition.
Does that sounds like a metaphor for life in general improving?
