On this glorious Friday I highly recommend listening to Friday Night in San Francisco, a live album by Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia recorded all the way back in 1981.
It's a conversation between three master guitarists. I was introduced to it almost 20 years ago and it remains a strong favourite.

I was born around the year 2000, and my childhood was in the early 2000s, but I agree with the argument that today's #music often lacks soul. Depending on my mood, I do listen to modern music, but for the past few weeks, I've really been feeling the music from my parents' early twenties.
