You know what really bugs me about Eru Iluvatar?

This mf knew Sauron was setting the Numenoreans up to get their asses kicked sailing west. But instead of having all the smoke for Sauron like a real G, he only shows up to whoop ass on the victims of deception.

...typical god.

Something something the ancient dying king in a vain quest for power and immortality brought on his country’s greatest enemy as an advisor, betrayed his allies, and persecuted those in his kingdom still loyal to the old ways.

I’m getting worried about the part where he attempts to attack his former allies and his entire country is destroyed and the majesty of the world is permanently diminished.

Beside the need for 'good' Elvish Fonts, an Atlas of Middle-earth is also urgently needed but that will demand a lot of explanation.

Tolkien did a lot of maps but none were 'scientific' and if he often cared about details, the 'bigger picture' was much less important.

He did only 1 map of the island of Númenor. And (on purpose) Tolkien never set it on a large map with Middle-earth. So we do not know were Númenor was precisely.
