@A_L_T wishing all who attend a great time together - for me, #oer24 and #oer23 were two of the best conference experiences ever.
I see 6 blog posts so far from #oer24 - links gathering here

Sharing an end of year reflection in late January? More likely than you might think...

Better late then never, right?
@donnamurdoch @weblearning hi Donna... I just found you also :) hashtags are another good way to find people here... e.g. #oer23, #femedtech, #HE4Good and many others. glad to be connected here!
big day. two presentations down at #OTESSA23, one #CSSE talk left to give. proud of my grad RA team & happy to be here with them.
here are the slides from my OTESSA invited talk, Digital Ed in an Age of Data: What Do We Do NOW?
it's built on my #OER23 talk from April but includes AI - & the hype cycle & gold rush it has generated - in its literacies lens. SPOILER: it has zero answers. but i think it raises a call for change & offers some paths i'm taking :)
At #OER23 Open Scotland ran a workshop & plenary panel to invite the community to reflect on open education in Scotland & shape future plans. Outputs have been shared on https://openscot.net Please share & add your voice.

After fifteen years of precarity and semi-precarity, I've been reflecting a lot, and I'll get to a blog post at some stage. It's been such a busy semester with the job search, interviews, and decisions to be made.
On top of that, it was a delight to get away to #OER23 and see everyone, and then I was straight off to the States. I also managed to complete the first semester of the PgCert in Digital Education with @CRDE but it's been so busy.
@czernie @czernie just a thought Laura. I have been experimenting with hashtags and how they might bridge here and the bird place. Some of my experimentation was during #FemEdTech curation in March and a bit more at #OER23 So I wondered if you might post to relevant hashtags on both places but choose where you wished to engage in any interaction. For example, if you chose the original toot with a working link 😂 and posted link to it with relevant hashtags on the bird site /1
@czernie @tryberg hi Laura, and Thomas! I reshared your first post, Laura, but see that traction was low. I agree that it is taking time to (re)build networks here, which is frustrating :( ... however, activity is increasing slowly. I've seen that hashtags can be helpful, e.g. there was a buzz of activity before/during/after #OER23, and #FemEdTech on Mastodon is small-but-growing :)
@magsamond @francesbell Love that #OER23 and #femedtech inspires so much writing and reflection!
@lornamcampbell @francesbell many of the reflective writings post - #oer23 were prompted by #femedtech and #GuerrillaEdTech - the growing list is at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hspc-R-C9mlu4DsDLJIk3NS4q1A7r-fwYioD3xER2CY/edit?usp=drivesdk
I think fitting that it took a cold May Day to get around to authoring this overdue reflection on #OpenScot at #oer23

@nicolasruiz my pleasure, Nicolás. I like the blog posts after a conference ... So good to get each other's perspectives. It was so good to meet you at #oer23, I hope to meet again.
Your blog post brought me back many fantastic memories of #OER23. Thank you!

Meawhile, I am here on a rainy Sunday afternoon looking at my #OER23 blog post draft, willing it to self-finish ...
This toot just wants to highlight @louisedrumm lovely leaf reflection. I love the 'hospice ed-tech' idea.
