The drivers of that piece of hardware I got for evaluation expect me to:

1. allocate and map some hugepages (fine so far)

2. pass the base addresses of each hugepage to driver function for determining into bus addresses (weird to do it explicitly, but okay)

3. it returns the bus addresses (maybe for low level debugging)

4. wants me to write the bus addresses obtained this way into a control parameter struct used for initiating the actual operation (WTF?)
