today was windy af, even for the beach. of course, this was the day i chose to go for a 2 hour bike ride, but i digress. i went for a walk on the beach and ran into a kitesurfer setting up for a run and chatted with him. he asked if i would help him get the kite up and he got out for a good session. #beach #oceancitynj #kitesurfing

on an evening beach walk, i encountered what appeared to be a shrine to the horseshoe crab. there were some shells arranged side by side, encircled by plant matter washed up from the ocean.

i paid my homage and kept walking #beach #HorseshoeCrabs #oceancitynj

we went to the #beach today. while sitting around near the dune, i noticed some flies congregating around me. these little bastards started to bite. only me. they left my wife alone. so i went to the water figuring they would leave, the wind would pick up, or find someone else.

they fucking waited for me on my towel!!!!!

then they were right back on the attack!

i must give off some attractive mammalian pheromones or something.
