will probably update more extensively in a week, but so far I like cosmic a lot more than my last time I tried it back when it was in alpha/beta
does it have issues? yeah, does it lack functions coming from kde plasma or in some places, even gnome? definitely, but considering it was just released, the pace they've been working at, how the environment will essentially follow a semi-rolling release schedule and the like, and how they fixed all the issues I've experienced before, even if it has some now I'm hopeful for it going forward
even if i end up making the switch back to kde plasma for one reason or another, it's 99% likely I'll come back to it just because of how well it works for me, I also like the combo of floating + tiling windows built in without any scripts that might break after updates, its all pretty nice

don't worry, i already know what that person thinks of me thanks to the multiple scenarios i made up in my mind
This blew my mind: Today I learned that planet Earth has a sea slug which can do photosynthesis like plants do.
The coolest part: It looks like a wood snail and a kale leaf had a baby.

I am really fascinated by the intelligence of animals.
In this video, an elephant with "tusk gingivitis" goes to the dentist for treatment, and he clearly understands that the dentist is trying to help.
That is a 6 ton animal, which could crush any human like a twig, calmly accepting a human touching and cleaning a sore wound of his — even lifting up his trunk to make better room for the job.

same applies for websites like twitter, as much as i would like that site to be gone, if it actually happened the bubonic plague would be unleashed on the entire internet, some sites sadly need to keep existing for one reason or another otherwise everything goes to shit
sometimes i wish reddit didn't exist, but then i remember that would be like burning the modern day library of alexandria for tips and tricks all over again and the feeling goes away
i noticed that i've been lacking on representing where i am from online-wise lately
do not worry though, i'll start saying random swears and spanish words every so often to fix this

you know, I always look back on portal 2 and think about wheatley and his character
he's such a crazy deranged fella, and in the latter half he makes everything around him worse by the second, but he does it in such stupid ways it works great as a humor factor
luckily he's a fictional character, and there are no people like him in real life, that would be cuckoo crazy haha
