Released on this day in 1999: #Descent3 for Windows. 🎂

The third entry in the #Descent series built on its signature #SixDegreesOfFreedom movement, letting players fly and rotate freely in all directions, both inside claustrophobic tunnels and in large outdoor areas.

It introduced a new fully 3D engine, advanced lighting, smarter enemy AI, and more varied mission objectives. The game also featured robust #Multiplayer modes like deathmatch, teamplay, capture the flag, and the unique "monsterball".

A technical leap forward and a cult classic among fans of #PCGaming and #RetroGames.
