Making Pickled Onions
I opened the front door this morning to go feed the #alpacas & #sheep & to water the plants.
A huge whiff of #onions or #garlic hit me.
I shrugged it off until midday when my better half came outside & asked what I’d been doing with garlic.
Hmmm. I might have to have a dig through our mound of #nasturtiums.
I planted their seeds in a large tub I’d failed growing garlic in last year.
Maybe the heat has revived them? Maybe?
No, not aroma from neighbours cooking.

Forgot to take a picture of the soup before I broiled it with cheese and homemade sourdough. But yeah it was amazing. Over an hour of caramelizing by MattCogs
