Of all the nice #fonts they could've chosen (#B612 / #B612mono, #SunGalantDemi, #LEXEND, #OpenDyslexic ... ) they chose the worst one with the worst #licensing terms...

@neuSoM Ich kenne #ComicSans oft nur bei Leuten die weder #OpenDyslexic noch #LEXEND kennen...

@neuSoM Die Verwendung von #ComicSans lässt das ganze leider weniger seriös erscheinen.

Ich empfehle als Alternativen #OpenDyslexic, #LEXEND und #B612 wenns um Lesbarkeit ankommt.

Un tema que me gustaría ajustar para #ProtegeMiDNI es usar alguna de esas fuentes que se supone que mejoran la legibilidad para personas con #dislexia como #OpenDyslexic
Lo cierto es que no tengo nada de experiencia con el tema y me suena que hay más de una fuente y por eso si alguien tiene experiencia al respecto agradecería si me pudieseis comentar sobre qué hacer al respecto, así como si hay alguna otra cosa a tener en cuenta.

Ever since I saw @klemensstrasser have support for the OpenDyslexic font in @studysnacksapp I’ve been meaning to do the same.

I was really worried about breaking the layout of some Views.

Seeing @hidde do it made me decide to just start.

@gemeinsamhier @mxk Ich habe eine Legasthenikerin im Freundeskreis, die diese Schrift sehr schätzt. Mit anderen Schriften verrutscht sie leicht zwischen den Zeilen, mit #OpenDyslexic passiert ihr das nicht.

Personally I prefer #B612Mono, but then again #LEXEND or #B612 may be a more sensible default choice for many.

#OpenDyslexic is a very extreme example, #Atkinson tries to be more subtile...

There are also other fonts like #DIN1451 * and #FE-Schrift, but they have way lesser glyphs (FE doesn't even cover #ASCII)...

@Jeremiah I really need to make a #font #list with all the good fonts designed for #accessibility and/or flexibility.

• #Atkinson is on my recommendation next to #LEXEND when #OpenDyslexic is not an option and #B612 doesn't cut it!

• Needless to say #OpenDyslexic & #LEXEND are way better fonts when it comes to #accessibility and #licensing.

Personally I intent to migrate from #UbuntuMono to #B612Mono for licensing reasons alone, and also the #B612 family is propably the best tested (#Aerospace certified by #FAA & #EASA) typeface that isn't paywalled behind NDA'd call-for-pricing license deals...
