Today is also regarded as #OrangeShirt day. No, it was not that long ago that residential schools were closed

In 2021 when we, belatedly, began to hear about the unmarked residential school graves, I made this to acknowledge over 200 little ones, to start to work out in my head how enormous the loss was/is.

Every orange dot marked someone's baby, someone's love, someone's heart.

Soon, even more tragically, it was apparent that number was an underestimate across Canada. Will we ever know the number? Looks like it's going to remain unfinished...
