I am so looking forward to hearing the sound of cicadas again. Alas, I’ll have to wait at least until September.

I’ve just been tired and needed a break. The world feels pretty heavy right now. I still have a lot of ideas, but with everything going on, it’s hard to feel like making art fits into the moment.

I've gone back to bookbinding to help pass time. If anyone is interested in taking them off my hands, feel free to browse the newest section of my Etsy shop for these hand bound books!

A handbound book with the cover decorate with a orange and green stripe pattern and a white geometric pattern overlaid on top. There is a white elastic band keeping the book closed. The book lays on top of an assortment of random flowers.A handbound book with the cover decorate with a orange and green stripe pattern and a white geometric pattern overlaid on top. Origami pairs: First fourteen.

This has been a fun project so far, and I am making a break here, since May will be occupied by other stuff to do.

This will continue, but not right now.
