Hab schon mal den Free-Trial begonnen bei #Discourse und fühle mich willkommen, bzw. werde gleich nach den wichtigsten Dingen gefragt.
#phpBB sieht auch noch interessant aus und danke auch für den Hinweis auf die Struktur, das wird egal wo entscheidend sein, für einen guten #Austauschplatz .

Finalement #phpBB c'était trop chaotique techniquement. Je me suis tourné vers #Flarum qui est un peu plus moderne.

Ce CMS a encore quelques couacs techniques, mais propose une interface simplifiée plutôt efficace pour les devices modernes.

À une époque, j'avais tenté d'aider la team #phpBB pour améliorer la structure de leur forum, pour une meilleure indexation.

Bien entendu, on m'avait envoyé balader. Aujourd'hui, je constate que rien n'a évolué et que c'est même pire qu'au début des années 2000.

Donc là, il va falloir optimiser un thème parce que le core du forum est catastrophique.

Tellement la flemme d'aller leur expliquer ça...

I was appreciating the old school forum again tonight. The sense of timeless response where the conversation hasn’t already moved on because the topic of the post is still the topic. 🙂

Oui, je pense également que #phpbb peut convenir. Je le pratiquais déjà au début des années 2000 😁 .

En grattant un peu, je vois d'autres alternatives libres (qui peuvent être hébergées n'importe où), notamment #discourse dont le développement semble assez actif. Plus moderne mais plus déroutant.

Je vais sans doute tester au moins ces deux là et les proposer.

Im ersten Teil habe ich gestern geschildert, wie mich #ChatGPT beim #Programmieren einer #phpBB-Erweiterung ständig vertröstet hat. Erst nach vier Tagen war die Extension fertig. Danach konnte ich mit der Installation beginnen.
