Headed out late this afternoon just to run a couple of "quick" errands, and...whoops! stumbled upon some ginormous plates of delicious #Hawaiian #food.
This detour sadly (/s) got me out of cooking duty this evening.
Passing colors between showers.
The stillness after a rain shower.
Looking north from the sewage treatment facility.

The river is on the rise.
#Nature creates the best #art.
I just look for the natural opportunities to frame/ #photograph what nature had already created to showcase to seeking eyes 💚😊💚

My brother in law saved a doggo's life. Dude is a hero. Super proud of him.

Want to read a detailed weather ‘forecast discussion’ from NOAA? Sure, you can do that. Open the map, click inside any red-outlined area and follow the link.
Each day a new forecast discussion is posted for each zone. Usually this is done very early in the morning. Often the discussion is updated later in the day.
The shaded colors on the map depict estimated rainfall amount over the next 7 days. Yellow is the highest.
The text screenshot is a snip from the forecast discussion for most of western Washington.

Big storm coming into the west coast, we have a flood watch active for the next four days.
Could be 'interesting' as we are already pretty saturated here in the valley from last week.
Keeping the solar batteries topped up has been a pain lately, got a bit of direct sun which helped yesterday.
But all the same I turned off the inverter. Just in case we do lose power this week at least we can be somewhat topped off..
Well if you're the handy sort around the suburbs, go take a look at the neighborhood curb-drains for leaves and blockage - they may get a good workout this week.
