@Andromxda ich würde es nicht ausschließen, dass einige Instanzen im einem virtualisierten Linux auf einem Microsoft/Apple-System oder in einer US-Cloud laufen. Man kann sich drehen wie man will und stets ein „ja aber“ anhängen - es ist jedoch keine digitale Souveränität, wenn US-Datenkraken direkten oder indirekten Zugriff haben. Die Kette ist nur so stark, wie das schwächste Glied. An #snowden s Worte , #Cloudact , #Keylogger & #Prism kann man nicht oft genug erinnern.

Been messing about with the #prism roguelike engine over the christmas break. Got fire that spreads on the grass and factions working so far! I don't have much of a plan yet so i'm just trying to build interesting building blocks so far. (Smoke is courtesy of @drewww )

@sarah I've gotten about a dozen people on fedi to try out simplex just by explaining the merits, a handful still talk to me there. IRL my contacts understand the importance of privacy from their government, they know about Edward Snowden and PRISM and Tempora and especially COINTELPRO

I am so proud of my wife. She has moved over to GNU/Linux a few months ago and today she had her real first issue. Her Minecraft client, Prism, would not patch. She searched for a solution and was able to figure it out by updating Flatpak and enabling a setting in Flatseal. A lot of people would have been upset and just said "I don't know what to do!" She actually did the Linux thing and found the solution>

She seems to be enjoying her time on Linux Mint.
