It's #FatTuesday and though I've celebrated it as #PaczkiDay (in US). But not getting any today - a break after many 10+ years.
Had stopped by the bakery on Thursday (real paczki day I've heard) with kid2 in tow - and a taped sign said cash only and it was $40/dozen 😳 (or 3.50 each!)
I normally get about 3 doz. 6 for home and 6 for lab and the other half dozens for (Polish) colleagues.
