Bahr News Agency has reported that Israeli forces have completely destroyed a central United Nations office in East Jerusalem, which was involved in providing aid and creating jobs for Palestinian refugees.
A spokesperson for the Office of Aid and Employment for Palestinian Refugees described the attack as illegal and a violation of the United Nations' principles.
The agency’s spokesperson, Jonathan Fowler, said that if today UNRWA is targeted, tomorrow a similar treatment could be meted out to another international agency or diplomatic mission.
The agency’s director, Roland Frederick, said that the action is political and its purpose is to seize land and settle Jews there.

Owda argued that Western powers, led by the United States, demand blind obedience to their “agreements” while ignoring Israel’s repeated violations.
She emphasized that Israel’s military actions depend entirely on U.S. support, making the genocide a U.S.-backed genocide, and that regional conflicts are driven by Washington and its allies.
Owda warned that true peace and justice in Palestine cannot exist while colonial empires, especially the U.S. and its allied powers, remain dominant.
