Archie and Cassie creep into the Zoog compound and weigh up their options. Having previously sacrificed to Nodens they call on his help when dreaming a torrent of water to drown the Minions of Karakal summoned by the Cats from Saturn but instead end up creating a lake covering the whole village. Fortunately the cage with the Zooglets is made of wood and floats to the surface. Some Cats escape by jumping to the Moon by overall a triumph.

Archie and Cassie prepare in Ulthar and go deep into Zoog territory, Houndsditch, the village where the Cats from Saturn hold Zooglets prisoner. The Zoogs are being forced to build a giant contraption, perhaps some kind of airship. Is it for attacking Ulthar or are the Cats from Saturn filling the void left by the Moonbeasts and aiming to become slavers? Or perhaps even both?

We round off the campaign dealing with the last gambit of our enemies who send an Eye Tyrant to break up our plague curing business. But we give it a good spanking and then it's character epilogues. In two week's time it's my turn to run something, Cloud Empress.

Much investigation into how magic works in the Dreamlands and search in the Great Library leads to a revelation tying up lose ends all the way back to session 10, 9 years ago. It goes to the very core of what the Dreamlands is. But next week, a trip back into the Enchanted Wood to see what the Cats from Saturn have been up to with the Zoogs.

So we break into the Cathedral and find some damning evidence of malfeasance in the records. And we also drain the negative energy from a funerary statue for use in alchemy to cure the plague. An angel objects to this so we, with no little trouble, take it down. Two of us have no love for the church and take evidence with us.

Not my regular group, I ran a Fearful Symmetries one shot on the Raspy Raven for four willing fellows. They investigated a screaming stone on Pendle Hill, it's link to witches, local folklore and legends (bogarts, ghosts, giants and the Dun Cow) and averted the presence of something terrible in the town of Clitheroe. It was great fun.

It seems the Cats from Saturn have taken over several Zoog village and have them building something that breathes fire. It is a rocket? It's not clear but Archie and Cassie make it back to Ulthar and discuss tactics with the cat general. They need to get a closer look at whatever the zoogs are up to. In the meantime, the monk is worried about how his news might be received by the Library so Cassie promises to test the water.

We've dealt with the Ifrits but the plague is still a big problem and so we lean on some nobles to foot the bill, only to run into a production problem that can probably be sorted out by burgling the cathedral records office. Fortunately the fire left a big hole in the roof and who are we to turn down providence?

The monk has a strange document with him that Cassie gets a good look at. I pertains to a deep magic, and it's not clear what he's doing with it. The way back is long but fortunately Archie's study of Zoog ways and language mean they make good time and keep out of trouble most of the way. And then, nearly back to Ulthar, well, we'll just have to see next week.

The Ifrits and their forces invaded Eversink through a gate above the Denarii Cathedral, where we've assembled our troops and manage to contain them and fight back. It was made more complicated because we're not allowed to injure or allow to be injured one of the leaders, due to a favour called in by a different extraplanar entity. There was some local score settling too, I joined in and the cathedral took a hit. Intense, and fun!

Archie and Cassie attempt some magic in the Dreamlands and it works, but not as intended. This is the first time they've been here in dream and so they have to use Dreaming to affect the world around them. Their magical training makes them good at this and then soon get on with what they came here for, a 15C monk caught in a stasis spell.

This only three players so we investigate the source of the plague in Eversink, and who might be selling cures, as they are the likely channel. A favour is called in by a Marid and we have to burgle again.

Clear the air with Muster, keeping him away from his mine and then scry for the missing student Crispin with his wicket-keeping glove, with protection. Once again, they are confronted by the fly they get each time they scry for Carthusians. It seems to be guarding the library directly, so is Crispin in the library, or in the fly?

So the Zombie plague has taken hold of Eversink and but we manage to get back to the Guild without too much trouble, pulling a fast one to get through quarantine. And we're given a budget to produce the antidote, but my outsider sell sword is deemed most trustworthy and put in charge of it. That's a whole can of worms I didn't want on my plate. Interesting times, good stuff!
