I'm hoping others follow suit.

Just finished this book by Katherine Blunt. It is a well-written story of how a large power utility wove the practise of "profits over people" into the tapestry of its corporate policies for years. The result was a systemic neglect of basic inspection/maintenance of power lines that contributed to many of California's recent wildfires. The impact of #ClimateChange is also discussed in depth. Overall, this is a very readable, timely and educational book. #Books #California #PeopleMatter
