Petaluma and Morgan Hill are being sued by the US govt on the basis of local ordinances banning gas in new builds.

If you are in the north bay, the group artshow I am included in is at the Ice House Gallery, 405 E D St, Studio B, Petaluma. This Saturday is the reception, December 6th, 5-7 pm. I’ll be there, masked, mostly outside. Come say hello! The show looks good, I saw what was going up on the walls. It’s a nice variety of styles and mediums.
I don't know if I have many fedifriends up here in north bay/sonoma/napa/marin, but if you're in the area... I'm singing with Cantiamo Sonoma and our Christmas concerts are next week and they're going to be *excellent*. This is honestly one of the most accomplished choruses I have ever sung in. Really good programming, excellent musicians.

Sonoma County Community Members,
COTS has hot to-go meals for lunch and dinner, seven days a week—available to any Sonoma County resident, no questions asked. With CalFresh delays looming, COTS has recognized that our community will see an increased need, and they are prepared for it.
Folks can go to 900 Hopper Street [Petaluma] seven days a week to grab hot, prepacked to-go meals for lunch or dinner. Residents may grab enough to-go meals for their family. Each meal includes a protein, carbohydrate side, fruit salad, and green salad.
Lunch: Pick up between 11:30am and 12:30pm daily
Dinner: Pick up between 5-6pm daily
To-go meals available right outside the lobby door during the hours posted above.

Petaluma witnessed a grand gesture of romance (some speculate that it was an apology 😅) today as 5 skywriting planes flew in formation to write a quite epic sentence in a giant circle over town.
It was an incredible sight to behold. We were on our way to dinner and the whole way people were stopped, looking into the sky, often with phones raised recording it.
It wasn’t a dream there was a 4.3 magnitude #Earthquake outside #Berkeley this morning just before 3am. Here in #Petaluma it felt like someone was gently shaking my bed before I rolled over and went back to sleep.
