15 fully funded PhD positions in computer science, Al, control systems engineering, and human-centred design for resilience design for large-scale cyber-physical systems, throughout Europe.

SPRING is a newly funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network under the Horizon Europe framework . It focuses on the resilience of future large-scale critical infrastructures that are deeply interconnected, cyber-physical, and exposed to evolving threats such as extreme weather, cascading failures, cyber-attacks and human error...

We are looking for talented and highly motivated early career researchers with an Honours BSc and/or MSc degree and experience in computer science, control system, electrical or communication engineering, or related fields.

Successful applicants will be offered a 36-month employee contract at one of the Beneficiaries (host organisation) where they will be registered as PhD students (Doctoral Candidates)

One on the phylogenetics and evolution of dragonflies with Dr Jamie Thompson, and another on the evolution of gastropods (Polystira) in response to changing climate with Prof Chris Venditti and Dr Jon Todd (NHM UK).

More explicitely, this thesis is about #drought responses of #tree seedlings, considering all organs and many #FunctionalTraits , but somewhat focused on #CarbonAllocation, #WaterUseEfficiency and #PlantHydraulics .
