This splendid Art Deco style cinema is located in the centre of Strasbourg. Its construction began in 1938 but stopped due to World War II. The building was bombed, but was repaired and completed in 1946. It was renovated in 1959 and then again in 1970. Its former auditorium was divided into smaller screening rooms.
