@odd #Phytomining is nothing new. Unfortunately, this article is very sensationalist. The reality is that such amounts are ridiculous and it would take many years (and millions of money) of research to find adequate extraction methods. The scientists say it clearly: it's only a research to understand the mechanisms.

Often these plants get genetically engineered. And they are always planted in fields, like in agriculture. There is no point in taking a fern out from the forest.

Ach, więc są rośliny, które akumulują w sobie metale z gleby i ktoś zrobił z tego #biznes. Sadzi się takie rośliny na hektarach nieużytków, zbiera się, suszy, mieli a potem z tego zmielonego proszku chemicznie odzyskuje nikiel, cynk, złoto albo cokolwiek innego.
