My idea of "binge-watching" a #TV show is to take a whole year for it.

I began #PicketFences on June 17, 2023. Nearly all of it comprised rewatches from past years; but this time I was deeply paying attention, rating each episode individually on Trakt. To avoid distraction, I've watched no other major TV since that date (I don't count nonfiction or any fiction with ten or fewer parts). And I finally finished TODAY.

This unique take on the iconic American #PicketFence is along a busy four-lane road. It is along the side of the house, and the front of the home is tucked away in a cul de sac. There used to be a sign on the fence advertising #piano lessons with a phone number, but it was removed some years ago. However, they left the creative paint work on the fence.

What do I do in my voluminous spare time? I restore my favorite TV shows. Like this HD/4K restoration of "Picket Fences" that I'm finishing up, which includes recreated open titles and fixes to typos in botched redone credits in the wrong font from the DVD release years ago.

Nach dem #bingewatching von #PicketFences #TatortGartenzaun wieder Mal zur Überzeugung gelangt das es eine der großartigsten Serien der letzten Dekaden ist, zum ersten Mal hab ich die Serie komplett gesehen, es ist eine Serie die man sich immer wieder ansehen da sie nicht nur skurrile und obskure Handlung beinhaltet sondern zeitlose Fragen der Menschheit die keinem Trend hinterherjagen!
