Ich poste aktuell wieder viele Fotos meiner letzten Ausflüge auf diversen Fotoplattformen und würde mich natürlich sehr freuen, wenn diese ein breites Publikum erreichen. #Instagram nutze ich aus offensichtlichen Gründen schon lange nicht mehr.

Für alle hier im Fediverse existiert z.B. die super praktische Möglichkeit, einfach meinem #Pixelfed Account @MarcRnt@pixelfed.social zu folgen.

Oh, gerade wollte ich (ein imho cool) selbst gestaltet und gerenderes Video bei #Pixabay hochladen... aber das darf ich nimmer 🤷 angeblich hab ich zuviel Käse hochgeladen 😳 was aber nicht sein kann. Hat jemand plötzlich ähnliche Erfahrungen, seit man vielleicht dem KI Training widersprochen hat?? Seltsam... und schade zugleich.

He descubierto #pixabay que en principio te da resultados de imágenes/fotos libres, pero me molesta que continuamente me esta redirigiendo a otra web de contenidos protegidos... y recién descubro que parece ser una web de #GAFAM

I found a sound asset I like on #Pixabay, and the license seems cool based on the summary: https://pixabay.com/service/license-summary/ -- you can use the asset in derivative works, modify it, no restricitons on commercial use, etc.

However ... that page is just a summary of the license. Where in the world do they put the actual license? I can't find a link to it anywhere? The terms of service also contains a summary of the license but also doesn't link to the actual license text... What am I missing? #gamedev #law

Screneumac. Pixabay non seulement autorise les images par IA (ça m'ennuyais mais je le savais) mais aussi ne demande pas aux gens de proprement tagguer leur upload.

Je vais donc devoir trouver une autre base d'images, car impossible d'assurer sereinement si les images que j'emploie sont ou non de l'IA

Irregular reminder that both Unsplash and Pixabay USED to be public domain images but then RETROACTIVELY tried to change the license, while still going "we're free use!" (can't remember if they straight-up said "we're public domain" still) while actively making it a nonfree license AND erasing all mention of the fact that their older images are public domain.

Not a good look.
