New study shows that #PlasticPollution is tightly linked to #PlasticProduction, there is literally a 1 to 1 relationship between them! Plastic production reduction is key, especially for single use.

Para 28 (d) only applies to energy systems, not to sectors where fossil fuels are a major feedstock. Still lots of profits to be made in a growing area, lots of lifecycle GHG emissions, along with #plastics and #miicroplastics pollution increasing the #PlasticsCrisis

Para 28 (d) is the only mention of Fossil Fuels in the whole document: "Transitioning away from fossil fuels in energy systems, in a just, orderly and equitable manner, accelerating action in this critical decade, so as to achieve net zero by 2050 in keeping with the science;"
