8 days to Legends ZA now for the Kalos team of Y… anyways Gardevoir is a mega here because Greninja didn’t have one if it DID back THEN I would have made it the mega as a result Gardevoir was the dedicated mega of the team… which I also got the stone for in Omega Ruby first as I did by that point get a second 3DS (well NEW 2DS but still…)

Cleared the ice gym. It was actually hard because I was trying not to use my starter Delphox, just pokemon around the same level as the gym trainers. But a lot of these were a bit too tough for my poor weak Lampent. So cute, and yet such shit stats and moves. So I ended up steamrolling everything with Delphox anyway. The gym designs in this game are very cool, both visually and the little puzzle elements. Now I am being encouraged to go to the Pokemon League but I think I need to do some backtracking now I have all the HMs and see what I've missed. #PokemonY

I really like ghost pokemon and there are so many great ones in this game, but they're so hard to use. 🥲 Dark pokemon are everywhere and seemingly half of the rest have Bite or a similar move. I got to use them during the Psychic gym though. Golurk, Doublade, Lampent, and Pumpkaboo are all cute as hell. #PokemonY

I'm not an Emolga fan but having fought a few of them so far they're really really annoying. You need Rock or Ice moves, but not on a pokemon that is weak to electric or flying. Like, sure, I can brute force pretty much anything with my overlevelled Delphox or Venusaur but that's not interesting. I also cleared the Pokeball Factory. #PokemonY

I've been intentionally avoiding doing any grinding of any kind thus far into the game, but having hit the level ~35-40 Fairy gym I had to actually go find some EXP for my giant centipede and sentient sword. Fortunately you get both the Battle Chateau and the restaurants so you don't have to grind random encounters. The Restaurant battles in particular seem to have slightly smarter than average enemy AI. #PokemonY
