> Let’s start with Trump’s electoral victory. His popular vote margin was one of the tiniest in American history. He won 49.9 percent of the vote compared with Kamala Harris’ 48.3 percent. Trump’s 1.6 percent edge is the third smallest since 1900, not counting 2016, when he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by a 2.1 percent margin.

An image made with Racket's plot langauge as an attempt to see USA presidential election results in a polar area diagram in the style of Nightingale's Wedges (Rose) diagram. With a few more tweaks, maybe better colors, and adjustments to keep all the labels in view, and maybe by rotating it 90degreis (1/2 pi radians?) it might be more useful. The image might become a useful "one-eyespan" visualization with the table of data used to generate the image along with some sort of legend to show that the different colored areas of each wedge represent the VAP:Voting Age Population, the VEP:Voting Eligible Population, the Voter Turnrout, and the elected candidate's votes (in gold like a medal) and other USA majore party candidate: silver for 2nd place. Maybe more than the color scheme needs tweaking to emphasize the small differences between winnin and losing an election between two business parties..
