🚀 Am Freitag fand die Fortsetzung unseres Co-Creation Workshops statt. 🤝 Die Projektteams trafen erneut auf die gematchten Partnerinnen und Partner und gemeinsam wurden nicht nur die nächsten Schritte besprochen, sondern auch ganz konkret umgesetzt.
Nach einem kurzen Input ging es direkt ins #Prototyping: Aus der Theorie wurde Praxis!
Es ist immer wieder besonders zu sehen, wie aus Ideen konkrete Lösungen werden. Vielen Dank an alle Teilnehmenden für den großartigen Einsatz für das Gemeinwohl.

Japanese media artist Yuki Anai uses light and sound with and by means of sensory technology. His installations are predominantly inspired by nature. He sees elements such as the sea or rain as messages whose meaning he decodes in his works.

His projects have received the Asia Digital Award, the Best Award of Smart Illumination, and an invited exhibition at the Ars Electronica Festival.

Exploring the interaction between forces, time, sound, and space: focusing on generative architecture and the dynamic relationship between movement and sound, using parametric tools and natural inspirations to create immersive and continuously evolving experiences.

1024 Architecture was founded in 2007 by Pier Schneider and François Wunschel, both architects. In 2014, they were joined by Nico Merlin, also an architect and composer, who became part of the studio. Since then, the collective has focused on creating and producing audiovisual installations, merging architecture and visual arts into a body of work that has gained international recognition. From small-scale objects designed for indoor exhibitions to monumental installations in public spaces, what sets 1024’s works apart is their unique approach to space through the use of geometry, light, sound, and movement.

Ok this is the best "prototype a complex circuit"-option i've seen around for a long time...

The idea is that the main grid is GND, ABCD are power planes and F1-4 and R1-4 (the rails on top and bottom of the grid) are signal input/output

on the back you have screw terminals for signals and power and on the front you have some holes to put "User Interface" components and mounting holes for a front panel plate.

The idea is to mount pre-made breakout boards with double sided tape to the grid and connect with coated magnet wire. If you have parts that don't have a breakout yet there are some template breakouts you can solder them to.

So much of modern digital hobby electronics is already using breakout boards and just chaining them together. Everyone who did this with more than 2 or 3 breakouts knows the pain of providing GND and Power busses to all these modules, this is a rather genius option for that.

The standard base board is Euro-Card size (100x160mm) so it fits the usual euro card enclosures, but I think it would be nice to have 1/4 size and half height options available too, but that should be an easy thing to do.
