#QSLcard

Received 3 eQSL’s today from the ARRL CW DX Contest back in February: France, Italy, and Brazil. #ke0fftQSL #KE0FFT #QSLcards #QSLcard

This #QSLcard from XE1UQZ is nice too. I wonder which one I’ll get. #QslCardCollector #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFT

Another colorful QSL card for XE1UQZ. This one includes flowers and berries framing the local architecture and the place-name looking like a park fixture. This card features a mountain in the background instead of a giant moon.

I just made two quick #qslcard front page designs for the #CEPT entities I tend to have most portable #QSOs from: Balearic Islands and Czech Republic. Request a card if we had such a /P QSO - they'll come via the #DARC bureau. #HamRadio #Amateurfunk #hamchallenge @hamchallenge HC01S

I collect inexpensive #QSLcards from places I’ve actually lived or visited. I was in Rio de Janeiro back in the early 2000’s for Carnival. This is the latest addition to the #QSLcard collection, and I think it’s going to wind up being one of my favorites. I really like the design. This one was sent for a QSO on December 13th, 1958 - just over 66 years ago. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard

Colorful QSL card showing a man in what appears to be a naval dress uniform with an antenna on his back transmitting the callsign PY1-DG out across the globe.

I liked the current “Illinois” #QSLcards so much that I decided to have a whole other set of “Colorado” QSL cards made, so that I can send cards out (better late than never) to all of those contacts that I made from Colorado between 2015-2019. This is the front. My wife took that collared lizard picture on Serpents Trail in Grand Junction, Colorado with her cell phone. #QSLcard #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFTqsos

It’s going to be a while before I find a QSL card for my #VintageQSLcard collection that I prize more highly than this one: A Radio Caroline QSL card postmarked 1967. #RadioHistory #QSLcard #RadioCaroline #Radio #PirateRadio #PirateRadioStation #AMradio #KE0FFTpirateRadio #KE0FFT

From the #RSGB on FB: “The centenary of the world’s very first trans-global two-way #radio communication is this Friday 18 October.

To commemorate this historic contact, special callsigns are active, and awards and #QSLcards will be available. On Friday, radio amateurs will also be recreating and re-enacting the first contact between Goyder and Bell.”

eQSL Card from Gringo Radio from 07.09.2024 on 6195 khz from 20:00 - 21:00 utc

#6195

Another acquisition for my quirky radio-related collecting hobby (vintage QSL cards from places I’ve actually lived or visited at some point in real life).

This card is from 1951 in the place where I was born: the naval base in Millington, Tennessee.

The sender was operating from Milington, and the ham he sent the card to lived in North Carolina. The distance between these two stations was approximately 468 miles as the crow flies.

Got the #qslcard today for my first QSO outside of North America - to New South Wales, Australia - back on May 25th (May 26th UTC). A fun one to add to the collection. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFT10m #QSLcards

@alper years ago I used the digital certificate you get from signing up to LoTW to create cryptographically-signed PDF QSL cards for emailing. Only a few hams hated them, so I consider it a success

Finally came up with a unique “Olney related” #QSLcard that I like - even though it is only on eQSL.com. I need to figure out what site I want to use to get some real #QSLcards made - ASAP. My printer is such a royal PITA these days that I don't even want to spend any time trying to figure out how to do it here. Credit for the pic goes to Jan Trabue. #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard #KE0FFTqsos

Added this vintage QSL card to my collection this week - postmarked Aug 4th, 1932 from W9DYW, who lived here in our current home QTH of Olney, Illinois, and addressed to W3WN, who lived in Maryland. I’m currently collecting a couple of older cards from the places that I’ve visited or where I’ve lived before. #QSLcard #QSLcards #KE0FFT #KE0FFTqslcard

I found this #QSLCard last night on eBay. I was *at* the 1993 #Chicksands Friendship Fete. I never knew the base had an amateur radio club.

Callsign GB2USA belonged to the late Maj. USAF (Ret.) Everett E. Worrell, Jr., who likely filled out & sent this card over 30 yrs ago.

A B-17 Pilot in WWII, he flew 35 missions over Europe, served 27 years in the USAF, was a Communication Inspector General, a #HamRadio operator & MARS (Military Auxiliary Radio System) member for decades.

eQSL Card received from VORW for reception of program on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25th, 2023 at 1900UTC / 1400EST on shortwave frequency 11920kHz.

I’m just noticing the QSL Card says Dec. 15th, but the program was actually heard on the 25th. Guess I’ll see if I can get another card.

Listened to this program on a KiwiSDR receiver (in comments).
