I really love that they planted #borage together with #calendula & #feverfew #plants 😍 So many pollinators were flying around this small area & feeding on the flowers.
There's sorrel growing closer to ground in the patch too.

Developing #AnalogueFilm - #PhotoNegatives using #Caffienol - coffee based photo developer.
#Recipe we used yesterday is in photos with detailed AltText.

We did 1 batch for 1 minute. 2nd batch was 1.5 minutes. I think if we left it for 2 minutes, we'd see better contrasts in the negatives. The photo negative samples from both experimental batches are below.

Recipe #1 Caffienol 250mL water - dissolve 20g instant coffee(Nescafe) 6g Vitamin C 22g washing soda (dissolve on its own) Mix all of the above together to create the photo developing solution.2 caffeinol developed photo negatives - 2 portraits collage - results of 1 minute time on the developing.2 caffeinol developed photo negatives in white tray with water. These were developed in 1.5 minutes. Joshua's hands are on the right, holding film casing.2 caffeinol developed photo negatives - 8 portrait negatives hung up on rope under tent. The #Graflex #CrownGraphic aka Graflex #PacemakerCrownGraphic is a #LargeFormat press #camera introduced by Graflex Inc. in 1947. The lesser known Crown Graphic is commonly mistaken for the Graflex Speed Graphic which is often regarded as the most famous press camera of all time. The mistake is easy to make, however, since the two cameras are identical apart from an additional focal plane shutter on the speed.

I had a great time at the indigo & plant-based #AnalogueFilm processing workshop, at Wark St Commons Community Garden, in #QuadraCommunityVillage 😀

Learned a lot. Got to enjoy hands-on practice at blending different processing fluids & developing photos at the workshop.

I'm quite tired now. Really need to eat & rest. I met some wonderful fellow creatives. I'm keen to learn & do more of these experimental, alternative photography processing manual techniques.
I recruited 2 new activist volunteers too, for free Palestine actions.
