#RailsConf2025

My favorite part from @bencurtis's #RailsConf talk last month was where he explained CGI environment variables and how they still show up in our systems today (including in Honeybadger!).

Fun memories from the days of early web development—give it watch if you haven't.

At RailsConf 2025, our co-founder Ben gave us a history lesson on the past 20 years of deploying with Rails. If you missed the conference, check out his trip down memory lane.

I just published a recap of my @railsconf 2025 talk on my blog!

Herb v0.4.0 is out, now with the Herb Linter, a Herb Formatter preview, and deeper editor integration for HTML+ERB.

Plus: a look at ReActionView, my vision for the future of the Rails view layer.

Thanks to everyone at #RailsConf who entered to win our custom Whirly Board, and congrats to the winner, Steven! We used Ruby to select the winner, of course.

These one-of-kind balance boards are manufactured by a small business, just like Honeybadger. If you didn’t win, you can grab one here—go check them out.

I've seen a lot of content about using #DDD (Domain-Driven Design) with #Ruby on #Rails, but none of it has addressed how to do the "one database per bounded context" pattern--especially in the world of Solid* and SQLite by default.

Does anybody have any strategies for this?

The first day set the tone — and tested the limits of my chess score😄

Beyond the board, I got to fully experience what Community Day at #RailsConf2025 feels like from the inside.
