It's weird in its own right, how much it weirds people out when you look up.

As humans, we have no natural instinct to look up. After all, why should we? We're the apex predators of the entire planet. We have no natural threat from above.

For business reasons I'm currently quite annoyed. We need to get away from security being maybe its own department but without its own budget and resources (apart from money for tools or the occasional pentest).
Trying to convince other departments and product teams to include security items in their projects

With a budget and resources other departments and product teams could ask the security team to resolve security issues or to implement security features gaining resources

I am told, by wiser people than I, that in #England & #Wales, the #crime of indecent exposure requires an "indecent" component. Merely walking about as your Deity/mother nature made you is not - in and of itself - a criminal act. One's accuser must explain to the judge's satisfaction why your exposure was indecent (maybe you needlessly jiggled something about, for example).

They went on to tell me that this is not the case in #Scotland, where one may be detained simply for rambling naked. They did not know whether or not one would successfully be prosecuted in the Scottish #court, but they thought it probable. It was not their area of expertise.

I did thank them for their advice, and put my clothes back on ;)

Spending it scouring OS maps for a walking route for tomorrow. I really don’t like using existing, promoted routes. I prefer discovering a route on a map. This mild obsession has led me to far more interesting times than published routes.
