Interesting #historical discovery of the day: In 1962, #legislation was proposed in the #RI general assembly to strip the tax-exempt status of #colleges & #universities that forced students to pay for food their #religion prohibited them from eating or refused to schedule makeups for exams scheduled on holy days. Today #DieMaus was a special dition about religion, belief and #ReligiousDiversity - a slightly more serious tone than previous weeks (Shaun/Blaubär left out to fit in longer documentary film and extra cartoons), a very good feature about angels (belief in these still being common to 3 main religions & non believers in DE!)
