I have a Lenovo F0D9 AIO that badly needed fresh thermal paste. At idle, I was hitting CPU temps > 75°C, and thermal throttling when running applications. This is an Intel i5 8400T, not the most powerful CPU, and those temps were unacceptable.
So I dove in! These are really nicely constructed units, with a 1080p 24" touchscreen. However, you have to pry the screen out of the plastic back half to get at anything. That was particularly nerve-wracking, but I managed without cracking or chipping the screen. Inside it's a fairly standard layout: motherboard, CPU cooler, MASSIVE fan, hard drive caddy, laptop-style DVD-RW drive, and pop-up webcam assembly.
Pleased to find that someone swapped out the WD Blue HDD I was expecting with a decent SSD. Thanks! And as suspected, the thermal paste was gnarly. You can see a little in the background. I tried to add an old NVMe I had laying around, but it wasn't recognized.
With fresh paste I'm hovering around 66°C. Success!
