Today's @diningcar visits while doing a short round trip in 🇩🇪 Germany :

Starting with Vegan Curry Sausage in a scenic :db: :de_ice: ICE 1 with the famous #HumpyTrain design along with some lemonade.

Later on an excellent bottle of 🍷 #Riesling wine along with a tasty rice salad in a modern :db: :de_ice: ICE 4.

An excellent #DiningCar journey 🥰.

Of the rest of the tasting, I enjoyed the Grand Cru Geisberg most. It had magic, and I love some magic in my wine. In the car going to work, I imagined saying this to Jean Trimbach. He asked, what about the Clos Ste Hune? And I replied, diplomatically, that gods aren't magical, they're divine. #riesling

After 12 years as the wine director of an Alsatian-French restaurant, I tasted Clos Ste Hune for the first time today. I want to describe it backwards: it was very long indeed, saline, firm.... I had the impression it was holding back, as if it wasn't sure I was worthy of the experience (D'Yquem does this sometimes). #riesling
