I was thinking about how to articulate how radical #RightToWork legislation is… so let’s take it to the opposite extreme.

Imagine a bunch of socialists and communists getting together and drafting “Right to Buy” legislation. Their argument is that if you go into a store, and you don’t like the price of an item, or if you simply don’t want to pay, you should have the right to just take it with no recourse from the store.

That’s how extreme Right-to-Work bills sound to a #union guy. #labor

As someone who grew up in Michigan, I'm proud to see that Michigan repealed the so-called "right to work" law from 2012. "Right to work" is a spin-doctoring term, and those laws make it harder to build union power.
