Fixing another Logitech trackball dead switch. How does this trackball get so messey inside??they may be tedious to disassemble but it’s possible without ruining or breaking it. That’s a good thing!

Let's say @randahl would say "screw this, I'm buying new pump", but then selling the broken one on eBay/whatever to remanufacturing guys who fixes this stuff on regular basis and then sell for 100€ instead of 200€

I'd say this totally goes with #RighToRepair meaning as it was supposed to be

A less exciting #maclinuxbuild update but nonetheless important. This CR2032 battery is for the NVRAM in the #macpro These batteries generally have a lifespan of 5-10 years and since this #mac is from 2010, was bought on craigslist, and its history is unknown to me, spending $5 on a battery is an easy “yes” for me. It’s amazing how repairable and upgradable this thing is. Especially w/ the #partspairing limitation in new #Apple #hardware #foss #floss #opensource #slowtech #diy #rightorepair

I kinda miss first party companies making pocketable handhelds. The fact that #steamdeck runs #linux and supports #rightorepair is huge but so is the physical #hardware. I love that the #psvita is just one thing in my bag rather than the entirety of it. And the #homebrew and #modding community has shown up better than #sony ever did. Impossible #ports released like #cuphead #hollowknight #gta franchise #android #arm 7 games and this vita is rocking a 512GB #microsd This is an easy #slowtech rec.
