A spot to enjoy the slow, relaxing teatime of the soul

Sisowath Quay riverside walk along Tonle River stretches past Royal Palace to Koh Pich.

There is always a cooling breeze making daytime city exploring bearable. The trees provides some shadow.

This riverside is an essential part of visiting Phnom Penh, capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The pearl of Asia are defined by the rivers around and cutting through it.

Little superb fairy wrens (I spotted 3) sit on top of the roof of the Rivercat Ferry Station along the Brisbane River. The leaves of the top of a mangrove tree are captured in frame. It is a sunny blue sky day. The birds song was very beautiful.

I got my walk in before what was pretty much a non event for rain. A tiny bit of light rain as I got back to my car & it was all gone by the time I got home. It was damned cold out there though, but a lovely walk nevertheless. Done & dusted a credible 5.5km in just on an hour. I did see some roos🦘 but they were too far away for a photo. Home now in trackies & winter woollies again 🤷🏼‍♀️. Crazy weather. #RiverWalk #Exercise

Playing with food tonight & being my best no waste self 😊. I have some leftover marinated chicken, some leftover chicken soup. This house sit is usually lacking in spices so I make do - pleasantly surprised to find chilli flakes in the pantry & it’s a first. Now I’ve steamed more veg & will mix with the heated leftovers & add some of the chilli. Flavours could be interesting but I think will be ok. We will see!
